Back to our gossipy roots with this little gem: Singer/actress Rihanna is not dating Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden. Seems Ri-Ri met McFadden while he was in Hawaii with his GIRLFRIEND. He’s a fan of hers and he introduced himself to her. She in turn bought DMC and his girl drinks on the beach. That’s it.
In our opinion, the media ought to leave that woman alone for at least a little bit. Although she’s trying to sell her brand while it’s hot. Oh, yes indeedy it is hot.
McFadden, a semi-favorite of TMZ was also spotted in an Arkansas gun shop purchasing multiple guns.
Seems like McFadden was prepping for a hunting trip, by purchasing…legally…the guns and hunting gear.
When asked about it on the Inside the Oakland Raiders blog, McFadden made no comment on the Rihanna story and basically said nothing about the gun story.
Personally, we at BSP are excited an athlete can purchase long guns with an idea of how to use them. He’s from Arkansas, which means he knows how to use a firearm. Ha, stereotyper, that’s a compliment. Knowing how to use a firearm is cool and McFadden does, instead of jamming them in your sweats and nearly blowing your leg off. Perhaps he can teach his teammate Rolando McClain something.
