Run Down

You ask, where is BSP?

Well, maybe you don’t. In fact, I’m sure you don’t. However, here’s some of the fun stuff:

The Giants waxed the Falcons, 24-2 to win the play-in game. They now will play Green Bay in Lambeau Field. Giants have a chance, but something says Green Bay will be ready for this game.

I wonder if we’re ever going to see weather in a Green Bay game. It certainly hasn’t been the case much, although the Giants matched up with the Packers in Lambeau just a few years ago.

Yes, the zone read is successfully introduced into the NFL Playoffs. The Donkeys defeat the Steelers, this time its even a more improbable win. Tim Tebow hits Dem….Moore for a 79-yard touchdown, giving Denver the victory. They now go on to New England. No, we are no longer in the prediction business.

I had a friend of mine say “Jesus was with (Moore) when he was running that game winner”. Are you kidding me? YOU ARE KIDDING ME!

I’m sorry folks, but Tim Tebow is not the only devout Christian in the NFL. Certainly he’s the best known, but not the only one.

Yes, Alabama won their share of the national title tonight. So what? They got a split this year. Nick Saban’s such a great coach, for college that is. I really wish he didn’t get dictator’s complex and had stayed with the NFL. I think Saban could have done well in the NFL.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.
