Tim Tebow — Not “The Bachelor”

As you know, there were rumors that Tim Tebow, pious quarterback for the Denver Broncos, was asked to be on “The Bachelor

That little plan fell apart, as if it ever had a chance of happening. Tebow is a Christian. Christians don’t put their personal lives out on video to make money. Christians who are saving themselves don’t mock marriage by messing around with gold-digging tramps.

Along with the variety of people we don’t like here at BSP, Tim Tebow isn’t among them. Then again, if the Donkeys sign Peyton Manning, Tebow will have plenty of time to star on a TV show. Rumor also has it that Tebow would be on his way to Jacksonville (his home) if that happened. Of course, that’s not going to happen. Manning would be absolutely out of his mind if he decided to go to Denver.

Says here Manning’s serious choices are Houston and Miami. Even Arizona’s a better choice. Houston should be the leader, if Manning wants to win. I don’t know what Manning would do if he was on a team that could stop the run, run the ball and has won a playoff game without him. He’d get to throw to Andre Johnson. Plus he knows the AFC South very well. Then again, there are no state taxes in Texas. If Manning wanted to go out a winner, says here Houston (without an offer from San Francisco) is his best choice.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.
