The NHL season is over, at least for me. There’s nothing…despite the wishful thinking of BSPN and NBSC…to watch anymore.Hope you draw a sub-one for your New York – New Jersey series; of course, you’ll blame it on the unpopularity of the Devils.
Sometimes there’s people out there saying “best of luck” to the opposition after their team loses. Not here. Worst possible luck to the Rangers, and possibly the most overbearing, arrogant fanbase in the sport. Their “fanbase” means BSPN, Barry Melrose and the gang of @$$clowns over at NBSC. Everyone loves the Rangers. Especially if they live/broadcast/write within the New York metropolitan area.
Now for our negative rants against Melrose and Milbury:
Too funny, Melrose got fired like a week into his first season at Tampa Bay. When asked by NHL Network who he thought would be the better matchup for New Jersey, Melrose replied with comments indicating nothing about hockey, but ratings, and excitement in the New York – New Jersey area. For that comment, we judge Melrose an New York @$$ hat. By the way Melrose, why don’t you grow up and cut that stupid old-man mullet?
Milbury was probably the worst general manager in the history of the sport; he set that franchise back fifteen years. And the big media outlets think these guys are great from a broadcasting standpoint because they can’t shut up. Milbury’s the only guy who could ever make me sympathetic to Sidney Crosby. An obvious blast at Milbury: Bettman likes him. How you like that, hockey fan?
The only thing I’d like to see from the Rangers are more tirades from their coach after losses. Here’s hoping for a New Jersey sweep and watching NBSC, Melrose and the BSPN brass cry over a New Jersey – Phoenix SCF.
See you in September, hockey!
