Transgender Beauty Pageant Candidate?

I was looking at CNN and I saw an article saying there’s a transgender beauty pageant candidate. Rather, there was a transgender beauty pageant candidate. In Canada, nonetheless, for the Miss Universe title. It did not win.

Are you kidding me?

W! T! F!

Okay. I know you all love this stuff, and celebrate it as a “human rights”/”civil rights” victory. Unfortunately, a man should not win a contest intended for females only. You know, women. Just because this dude says its a woman and has some parts swapped out, it’s still a dude. You know, the whole DNA thing that tells you what sex you are? I don’t think there’s anything that can change that. Sorry, “everything goes” advocates, you have run amok. That’s a MAN with intense surgery to look like a woman.

So, what if some dude decided to get “reassigned”, won the contest and got “reassigned” back?

“Here we have Joe, winner of the Miss Universe contest. He did a sex swap, then did one back. Now he has a whole line of female clothes named after its female incarnation; in turn the only thing he has that he can now wear are the flannel shirts.”

Ridiculous.

We at BSP are for individual rights, but you shouldn’t have the right to enter my contest if I don’t want you to do so. For example, would we have a black woman entering the “Miss Aryan Nations” contests because her civil rights would be violated?

Note we didn’t mention putting a white woman in the Miss Black America contest, because she’d win.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.
