Heat Wins Title

Well, the Heat are about to win their second title, and LB James his first.

Wonder if their refs are going to get rings along with the players. My gosh, Miami could do whatever it wanted to while the Thunder…and lets just say this, the Thunder had some advantageous officiating along the way…got nothing.

I’m sure the ratings will be outstanding. There are many people engaging in this hero worship.

Here’s what bittersportspills are all about, where we get bitter:

– We’re glad Derrick Fisher didn’t win another title.

– We’re sorry Juwan Howard won one. How about getting over yourself and retiring? That guy had about as much to do with the Heat winning as I did. A FAN sitting in row 1 has more to do with them winning than Howard.

– Erik Spoelstra, LB James’ hood ornament. Once again, that guy had about as much to do with the Heat winning a title as I did. Roll out some basketballs and say “get it to LeBron”

– “Rings won”, period: Darko Milicic has a ring. Luke Walton has two. Bill Wennington and Luc Longley have three. Will Perdue has four. There’s a Hall of Fame roster for you.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.
