I was just watching the Cowboys playing the Chargers in preseason. The Cowboys lost,28-20. They fall to 0-2 in the preseason.
This post is called “Bad News on the Doorstep” for a reason.
Your team has been playing like flaming dog crap in these first two weeks. You, as a fan desperately want to believe these games mean nothing.
My friends, that is simply not true.
If you can’t block, run, pass or tackle in preseason, what makes you think your team is going to miraculously discover how to do so in three weeks? Furthermore, if your team is great with their starters and terrible with the second and third stringers, it means you have no depth for the long haul.
Time to get concerned, or more likely, get ready for hockey season. Oh oh, there might not be a hockey season. Time to watch David Stern break out his The Lakers/Heat dartboard next month while deciding who will win the 2013 NBA title.
As for the Cowboys, I don’t like them at all anyway and I hope they are straight-up awful.
