Commissioner Stern has decided to coach the San Antonio Spurs. He’s gonna make them play players they don’t want to play, for the sake of ratings.
The commissioner, instead of addressing the huge competitive imbalance in his fake fraudulent league, fined the Spurs $250K for not playing Manu Ginobili, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Danny Green against league favorites Miami.
Do you think San Antonio cares whether the league fines them $250K? I’m willing to bet they DO. Sorry Spurs fan: If Popovich knew this was going to cost the team that much, he would have had Duncan and Ginobili go play the Millionaire’s line and take off at halftime. Instead he cost his team a quarter mill for basically no good reason.
Meanwhile back to d-bag Stern: When are you finally leaving? Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
