I’m watching last week’s parade of trash TV. Of course, the Jodi Arias trial more than satisfied the need for trash, but there’s always room for more. Jodi Arias is awesome. Can’t get over the dude wanting to tie her to a tree and ass-bang her; then she wanted to find a spot to make it happen! The sheer quality of filth out of that trial is amazing.
Maury is so into cheating/DNA testing I get pissed when they do something else. This week, Maury had two shows about DNA testing, two about cheating and one about both!
Tricia Goddard has a variety of shows, even some not relating to lie detectors or pregnancy. Except this week. Wife cheating with brother, guests return for more humiliating tests, a boyfriend with a sister, and a man accused of fathering three children with three women.
Watching Jeremy Kyle right now, with his show on “Go back to rehab and get your four children back.” This woman found out her husband had cheated over 20 times; now she’s pregnant with a second child when the guy was neglecting the first one! Nothing says love like that!
Steve Wilkos is amazing simply because he deals mainly with child abuse. I think that’s interesting because he always gets to play the hero. Not sure how believable that is.
One thing’s for sure, these shows will always be around because there are people like me who always want to see someone else fall on their ass! What kind of idiot wants to go on TV and talk about whom they are sleeping with? Why would someone want to find out their kid isn’t their kid on National TV? I guess some people think their own humiliation makes them famous. I couldn’t care less. Other people’s humiliation is always fun.
It’s good being boring.
