Jodi Arias, found guilty of premeditated felony murder.
Her reaction? Virtually none. So what? She’s a killer. She can kill someone; she can slit someone else’s throat. She’s a murderer. She isn’t going to have a reaction. She’s a narcissist. She’s smart, but she has no common sense. Earlier this week, Arias provided a nasty tweet at Nancy Grace. She had sent a series of demeaning tweets on Juan Martinez earlier in the trial:
Now they go to the aggravation phase. The prosecution has to prove cruelty. That shouldn’t be a problem. She got him out of the shower, stabbed him and kept stabbing him. As Travis Alexander stood at his bathroom mirror, the last thing he saw was this crazy woman stabbing him. I can’t even imagine what the dude thought when Jodi grabbed his head to slit his throat. Then she dragged him back to the shower and shot him in the head.
And then she stomped his dead body.
Jodi Arias clearly thought she was going to get away with it. I’m still surprised five jurors only got her for premeditated murder, the other seven got her for premeditated felony murder. Unless you were on an island, you know she was a cold-blooded killer.
After the verdict, Arias was heard screaming at her attorneys. She shouldn’t. Their muddling the prosecution’s case is the only reason it took 15 hours. She’s highly likely to get the worst possible sanction.
Get this: Arias reportedly said she’s praying for each person on the jury. She’s nuttier than a fruitcake! I hope the jury gives her what she deserves…a trip to the gurney and a dirt nap.
I think you are confused about the verdict. Five found her guilty of premeditated alone and the remaining seven found her guilty of both felony AND premeditated murder. None found her guilty of just felony murder. It was confusing and I had to listen to it at least 3 times to understand.
All 12 jurors voted for premeditation, not just five. Seven of the 12 voted for felony murder *in addition*. I recommend to watch the verdict again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTZFtfg2LZU
Doesn’t matter. Her idiotic interview after the verdict essentially seals her fate. Unapologetic, unrepentant and petulant to the end. Unless something unforeseen happens, she’s gonna have a date with a needle.
