1,000 Posts

I was thinking of writing something profound for my 1,000th post.

It’s not happening. I’ve had some fun and spread some bitterness. Blogging is fun. I’m going to continue. I don’t think I’ll see 2,000 posts but why not continue? I like to write. Even though this is a sports blog and most of my teams suck. They suck, they choke or they are the victims of fixes. I’ve attacked suck-up ass-kissing sports media., especially those who try and tell us what to think. They yell a lot. Sports media is made up of failed journalists and broadcasters; I’d yell too if I sucked at what I originally did and was forced to do something else.

I do think its great how I’ve blogged from another continent when we went on a cruise. Actually a pair of cruises. I’ve also blogged about money, travel, hot women, women with big asses, trash TV, stuff I buy, gardening, cooking, barbecue, grilling , alcohol consumption, hypocrisy, criminal activity, cheating and once in a very great while, political issues.

I’ve also given you a glimpse of myself and my family life.  A small glimpse. It’s been fun so far. I hope it continues.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.

Congrats on your 1000th post!! It’s great to read entertaining sports humor…even when its at the expense of the teams I follow.

  2. Mr Mac, the only thing people have to say is, look at your team, Mr. BSP. Silence. No titles or titles won in 19xx isn’t good.
