It’s what happens when you run your mouth and have no idea what you’re talking about. You know, like REAL sports casters. Yeah, I said there’s no way Romo was going to miss this game. But he is, exponentially helping Dallas’ chances of winning this game.
If there’s one thing we know about Kyle Orton, he isn’t (or hasn’t been) as prone as Romo to the back-breaking mistake. I think the Cowboys are going to rely on their running game, keep Chip Kelly’s offense off the field and do enough to win it.
Which puts Jerry Jones in a bad spot: If his $55M (guaranteed) QB doesn’t play and they win, why do you have a guy who’s getting $55M (guaranteed), a bad back and a bad record in December? If Kyle Orton gets them a big playoff win, that is going to be the question. BSP has never questioned Dallas’ talent. They have a bad habit of letting stuff that doesn’t matter get in the way of winning games. Like the whole image of being a Dallas Cowboy.
