LB James = Greatness

Have we seen this before?

Some folks, including this blog, still have the haterade going for LB James. But he’s going to get 50 tonight against the Brooklyn Nets. Excuse me, as he misses a free throw to “only” get 49. Heat win, 102-96 to take a commanding 3-1 series lead, with the closeout happening in Game 5 in Miami. That’s a winner; that’s a guy doing whatever it takes for that team to win.

If you’re watching the Heat play, there’s not all that much to this team. It’s LB James pulling this team along, and the Heat-ettes taking full advantage of his performance. The Heat allowed Chris Bosh to take three 3’s at the end of the game. Bosh connecting on the final three put Miami ahead for good.

Give James credit. He’s a champion, a winner. No matter what the league’s role has been in propping them up to multiple championships.

Are you going to listen to the sickeningly biased Reggie Miller in Game 4 of the San Antonio – Portland series? I don’t know what happened to him here, but he hates San Antonio. Well, San Antonio hates him too and not just because of his bias. If he wasn’t such a terrible broadcaster, this village wouldn’t express itself so negatively towards him.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.
