Sorry, Casual Fan & Sports Media: Baseball is HOT!

Are you watching Major League Baseball’s playoffs?

Kansas City has Anaheim’s California Angels of Los Angeles Southern California in a 0-2 trench, with the series going to Kansas City. The San Francisco Giants, my other team besides the Braves, is currently tied 1-1 with the Washington Nationals, my other favorite team besides the Giants and Braves. The Cardinals took down Clayton Kershaw, one of our absolute favorite players … Clayton Kershaw is a cool cat … on their way to an unexpected 10-9 road victory over Los Angeles. And the Baltimore Orioles … one of my favorite baseball teams ever, have the Detroit Tigers in an 0-2 trench going to Detroit, one of baseball’s traditional powers.

Is this cool? Baseball’s playoffs are a hell of a lot more exciting than basketball’s for sure. You have no idea who is going to win from day 1 of the postseason to the very end. It’s quite unpredictable.

Ladies and gentlemen, please continue to enjoy baseball while it lasts. It’s going to be a lot of fun until the final moment of the WS.

About bittersportspills

I love sports. I don't love the hype, homerism, ratings talk, self-important egomaniacs, bias or any of the other nonsense you get with the national media. Nor will you get the two clowns on sports talk radio who stage phony arguments. It doesn't make it entertaining. It makes it time to turn on your iPod and jam instead of listening to white noise generators. This is the sports blog for you, the ones who don't like everything Los Angeles or New York. Just because the sporting media is based there doesn't mean we have to like their teams. We do treat them fairly, though. That means if one of those cities has an average QB who plays particularly well...we'll note it. If they're garbage, we'll say so. Instead of crying "why, why, why" like a certain sports media homer did in his radio broadcast. This isn't my job...I have a real one. Nevertheless, I'll post here when I make an observation. Common sense in sports is nearly dead. Now we're attempting to bring it back.
