Did you – and everyone else in the country – see Dez Bryant’s catch get overruled?
They had to call that catch a drop.
First, it’s always a non-catch. It’s a non-catch with Calvin Johnson, and especially Bert Emmanuel, in an even bigger game than this one. It’s a dropped pass even though it was clearly caught.
Second, if it had been ruled a catch, it would have been different than any other play like it, making it clear favoritism for the Cowboys. It would have inspired a ton of conspiracy theories, giving them legs.
What I found amazing was the similarity. The Cowboys didn’t get the ball back, just like every single team that’s been jobbed in a huge moment. Idiot coach Jason Garrett with his “play through it” nonsense certainly wasn’t thinking it once his team got jobbed.
Speaking of Dez Bryant, did you see him go out on the field again? Did you see him helmet less? I guess that’s not a rule … unless it’s on the other team.
I think this is the first time in their history the Cowboys got jobbed. I still find it difficult to believe. Perhaps he just should have pushed off like Drew Pearson.
